Valia Kap Studio is a creative studio founded by textile designer Valia Kapeletzi in Athens, with the aim of composing artistic works that highlight the uniqueness of fabric as a material. Drawing inspiration from organic forms and textures, Valia specializes in experimenting with everyday materials, which she deconstructs and reshapes using innovative techniques. Her experience in the fashion industry as a textile developer at Iris van Herpen, along with her studies at the London College of Fashion, have significantly contributed to the evolution of her work, which blends art and design. Light, transparency, and textures are fundamental elements of her creations, which she skillfully utilizes to craft intricate compositions that blur the boundaries between textile art, interior design, and sculpture.
