The conversion of a typical apartment building into an urban hotel by JC Architects in 2021-2023. The key design gesture was the use of a metal perforated surface that “embraces” the existing building envelope and penetrates the interior of the building, creating spaces and textures that highlight the contrasts of the Athenian neighborhood.
