The Stavros Niarchos Foundation Cultural Center stands as the new landmark of the city, located in the Delta of Faliro. The idea for this oasis of culture and greenery was conceived in 1998, while in 2008, the Renzo Piano Building Workshop was selected for the design of the SNFCC. Construction began in September 2012 and was completed in 2016.
