An apartment in a 1964 building, renovated between 2023-2024 by the architectural firm Space is around us, led by Elli Athanasiadou. The rigid compartmentalization of the space was replaced with an open-plan layout to maximize usable space, natural light, and the seamless flow between the entrance, living area, kitchen, and dining space. A single dominant color, inspired by the bold hues of 1960s wallpapers, was chosen as the organizing element of the floor plan: a blue volume encloses the WC, around which the living, kitchen, and dining areas unfold.
