An apartment in a 1940s apartment building, renovated in 2023 by the architect Thanasis Oikonomou. This year, the space will host the exhibition “Neighbours Next Door”, specifically designed for the visitors of OHA 2024 by the architect, the Belgium fashion designer Berenike Gregoor and the illustrator Georgia Zachari. The exhibition presents the life of a family of critters represented as life-sized inflatable sculptures. The critters occupy “House in a House” taking part in ordinary tasks. The surprising identity of these neighbours invite us to think about our own neighbours next door. Who are they? Are they like us? or are they foreign creatures from another planet?
