MADE IN KALAMATA

Following the pop-up events of Open House Athens in Chania (2022) and Volos (2023), our out-of-town events travel this year to Kalamata to explore its local production and creators through the “Made in Kalamata” initiative!

In collaboration with the Captain Vassilis and Carmen Constantakopoulos Foundation, we are organizing free guided tours of Kalamata’s production and creative spaces on the weekend of June 1-2. The tours are conducted by the producers themselves, who will open their workshops to introduce us to their products’ production processes—both modern and traditional—while, in some spaces, there will also be an opportunity for tasting.

The program will be announced here at the end of May.

HOW TO ATTEND THE TOURS

1. Review the program.
2. Visit the locations that interest you in a timely manner, within each’s visiting hours.
3. Wait in the line that forms on-site to attend the tour. The tours start at regular intervals.

The tours are free and no reservations are required.
