Parallel event

The annual poster design competition, in collaboration with the Vakalo Art & Design College this year is about the unified visual identity of the “OPEN HOUSE Athens / Thessaloniki 2025” event.

The official poster and volunteer t-shirt for OPEN HOUSE Athens 2025 and OPEN HOUSE Thessaloniki 2025 will be derived from the proposal distinguished in the competition. Additionally, the winner will receive a prize of a full scholarship worth up to €2,400 provided by the Vakalo Art & Design School for attending any of the 6 one-year workshops.

All students or graduates from design-related fields can participate in the competition. Participants can submit up to 3 different proposals to info@openhouseathens.gr, with the subject “Design the Poster,” until January 13, 2025.

For each proposal, send a digital presentation of your idea in a PDF file (up to 24 MB), including the following:
• Posters for both events
• Facebook event covers for both events (adaptation of the poster in horizontal orientation)
• T-shirt prints for volunteers of both events
• Explanation text of the idea
• Brief curriculum vitae
