The contest “Design the Poster”, coorganised with Vakalo Art & Design College, is completed with huge success, with more than 200 submissions. Nikos Doumanis* is announced winner, while he is also awarded with a full scholarship for studies at Vakalo College.
In the poster, “Open House Athens 2021” is placed in this way, communicating the structure of a staircase. Particularly interesting is the motion version that gives the illusion that the staircase is moving upwards and that we are approaching “Open House Athens 2021”.
* Nikos Doumanis is a graduate student of the Department of Communication and Mass Media of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. Having chosen the field of Advertising and specifically the creative field, he deals with Graphic Design both academically and professionally. Apart from the graphic design, the last five years he has been working with fashion photography, portraiture and video, in which, as he states, “he would like to give one more opportunity professionally”. In his spare time he tends to compose music, while he particularly likes the production of House and RnB. His passion for the arts comes from his lifelong love of creation. Current areas of interest and exploration are 3D design and branding.
